CR Kitchen: Cooking with Riviana Pear Juice

Pear Self-Saucing Pudding

Approximate cooking time: 1 hour

Serves: 10

 

Ingredients

¼ cup brown sugar

1 ¼ cup self-raising flour (GF)

100g margarine melted

2 eggs

½ cup pear juice

1 ½  cup Riviana pear juice

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C and grease a pie dish
  2. Combine brown sugar and flour in a bowl
  3. Melt margarine and combine with eggs and pear juice
  4. Mix into flour until mix is smooth
  5. Spoon mix into baking dish
  6. Using the spoon pour pear juice over mix
  7. Bake in oven for 40 minutes
  8. Serve with custard

 

This recipe is sugar reduced and uses the natural sweetness of pear juice. It is also gluten and dairy free.
